Nilphamari government high school is one of the government high school in Bangladesh situated on the city center of Nilphamari. The school main entrance is situated just beside the Nilphamari-Jaldhaka road. The Primary Training Institute is located at the opposite of the school. District Education Office, District Education Engineering Office, District Primary Education Office and the Municipal Water Tank is within the area of the school. The city Municipal office and House of District commissioner (DC) is situated at the west side and south side of the school respectively. The school playground is located adjacent to the main Municipal “Baramath’’ (Big field). There is also a playground inside the school compound. In 2008 the school made a grand celebration of its 125th date of foundation.
